ABC-7 First Alert: Widespread showers and thunderstorms, Thursday

Good Morning! It was a soggy start to your Thursday and more rain is in the forecast this afternoon and evening.

Some of the storms will increase the threat of flash flooding-- rainfall amounts of 0.50 to 1 inch are expected in some locations.

Monsoon season started on June 15th and ends today, it looks like we will go out with a bang! Drier air moves into the region this weekend.
