ABC-7 First Alert: Storm system brings strong winds and rain/snow showers

An ABC-7 First Alert remains in effect Monday as a strong storm system moves into the region.

The winds will increase this afternoon with wind speeds of 25 to 35 and gusts near 55 mph and even strong winds in the area mountains.

A cold front will sweep across the area and usher in noticeably colder air. We will see a chance for lowland rain showers and mountain snow showers.
