ABC-7 First Alert: Tracking a nice Friday evening and Saturday, dusty and gusty Sunday

Our First Alert continues in preparation for Sunday's dusty and gusty weather! Wind gusts out of the southwest are expected to gust up to 60 mph with blowing dust. The estimated timeframe is from 11AM to 8PM Sunday. Peak winds between 2-7 PM.

The National Weather Service in El Paso has issued a High Wind Watch for Sunday afternoon. Likewise, a Red Flag Warning is in place for much of the Borderland! Culberson County is under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 10 PM tonight.

We are on track for a nice weekend ahead of the gusty and dusty Sunday.

Looking for some weekend plans? La Vina is from noon to 7 PM in Anthony tomorrow and Sunday. Tomorrow will be a better day to attend, it will be nice and breezy. Sunday will be dusty and gusty for most of the day.

Likewise, ¡mira! Las Cruces will be from 2-9 PM tomorrow. Very nice weather expected!
