Baby formula shortage coming to an end

SILVER SPRING, Maryland --

The head of the Food and Drug Administration says there's "good news" regarding the baby formula shortage.

Commissioner Robert Califf says that formula productions is now exceeding customer's demands. He says that even though there is a surplus of formula, the shortages will still take time to fix.

Califf did not provide an updated timeline of when the shortages could get resolved.
