Las Cruces Mobile Home Catches Fire
LAS CRUCES — Fire crews were battling a mobile home fire on Wednesday at 5453 Melody Lane on the East Mesa.
The fire was reported at 3:44 p.m. and firefighters were on the scene within minutes, authorities said.Allof those insidethe single-wide mobile home were safely evacuated and no injuries have been reported, crews said.
Firefighters from the Organ and Dona Ana volunteer fire departments were called to assist. The Red Cross was called to the scene to help care for the four children and two adults who live at the home.
