Teen Stabs Father After Argument, Police Say
An 18-year-old man slashed his father with a pocket knife after a verbal argument, police said.
Police said Roger Valdez, of the 3000 block of Van Buren Avenue, was arguing with his father, Jesus Valdez, when the confrontation turned physical about 7 p.m. Wednesday. That when police said Roger Valdez pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed his father in the left shoulder.
Jose Valdez was taken University Medical Center, where he was treated for a laceration.
Roger Valdez arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail, with bond set at $45,000.
