EPPD: Man Hospitalized After Parking Lot Fight; Suspect Arrested
El Paso police say they arrested a man after an early-morning fight outside an East Side bar.
Investigators told ABC-7 it happened in the parking lot of Geske?s Fire Grill on the 1500 block of Lee Trevino.
Police said three men, including 28-year-old Andre Billups and 30-year-old Victor Vasquez, were kicked out of the bar around 12:35 a.m.
Investigators said Billups and Vasquez were then arguing in the parking lot when Billups began punching Vasquez.
Vasquez then fell to the ground, hitting his head on the asphalt, according to police.
Investigators said he was taken to Del Sol Medical Center with serious injuries.
Billups was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and booked into the El Paso County Jail, with bonds totaling $10,316, police said.
