Ready Yourself For A New Year’s Resolution
New Year’s resolutions: Some of us have them and others skip them.
But El Paso “life coach” Tish Times, founder and CEO of Hire Times Success Coaching Group, told ABC-7 that the clean break when the ball drops on midnight is ideal for a new year reinvention.
“it’s a good time to release those errors, those mistakes you might’ve made in the past year,” she said.
Times added that resolution success depends a lot on the resolution itself, and that before you even start, you need to know exactly what you want.
“Fuzzy goals equal fuzzy results,” she said. “So, you have to be realistic, very clear with what you want to accomplish.”
Write down your goals, Times advises. Just make sure you don’t immediately put the sheet of paper in a drawer.
“Put (your goals) on a bulletin board or maybe your computer monitor, somewhere you can see them every single day.”
Times also told ABC-7 one shouldn’t be discouraged if and when they stumble when it comes to their resolution.
“You might make some mistakes, but those just opportunities to learn, to reset.”
