Crime Victims Memorialized

“It’s like you don’t belong in the world, everything changes, your family dynamics,”
Martina Rodriguez said.

Her life changed forever after her son, Danny Nunez was murdered.

The 27-year-old was shot-and-killed in 2012.

Nunez is one of more than 1,000 victims whose names are listed on the crime victims memorial.

Each of those names was read aloud on Sunday, followed by the ring of a bell.

“The pain never goes away, it’s an everyday thing, it’s just there, everyday,” Rodriguez said.
