3,000 UTEP seniors graduate in Sun Bowl

Almost 3,000 seniors will be getting their diplomas at the Sun Bowl Saturday. The ceremony is breaking from tradition in recognition of UTEP’s 100th birthday this year.

Seniors from all of UTEP’s schools and departments will be graduating together. The ceremony starts at 7 p.m. with a fireworks show for the grand finally.

UTEP officials said they expecting 25,000 people.
