UPDATE: Pedestrian Killed in East El Paso, police release name of deceased

El Paso Police tell ABC-7 51-year-old Carlos Gutierrez walked onto the roadway and into the path of a car, just before 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Escobar and Zaragoza. He was killed.

Investigators say the driver of the car, a 38-year-old woman, will not face any charges.
Investigators do not know why Gutierrez walked into the intersection.
