El Paso Police release name of 2-year-old girl who died Sunday afternoon

El Paso Police have released the name of the 2-year-old girl who died Sunday afternoon in East El Paso.
She has been identified as Hailey Marie Harper of the 13000 block of Enrique Gomez.
The El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Person’s Unit continues to investigate Hailey’s death.

Sources tell ABC-7 the child was found in a small car and has died.
El Paso Fire Department emergency crews responded to an East El Paso neighborhood on the 13000 block of Enrique Gomez, nearHugo Reyes just before one Sunday afternoon, for an unknown problem.
Officers arrived and found Fire Medical Services rendering aid to a 2-year-old female inside the residence. The 2-year old female was transported to Sierra Providence East where she was pronounced dead. Crimes Against
Persons (CAP) has been called to assist with the investigation. This investigation continues.
ABC-7 crews saw what’s believed to be family members drive up earlier. A man spoke to police and a woman was speaking with someone on her cell phone while crying.
A child was left in the car early last week. Police said officers found the 2-year-old boy inside a car parked outside a home in the 18-hundred block of Dean Martin on Wednesday with a temperature of 106 degrees.
