Incumbent Beto O’Rourke wins re-election in US Rep. District 16 race

U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke has won re-election by a sizable margin over his two opponents.

COREY ROEN (REP) 21,293 29.17% BETO OROURKE (DEM) 49,257 67.49% JAIME O. PEREZ (LIB) 2,438 3.34%

Democrat O’Rourke, was elected in 2012 and says he wanted to go back to Washington, D.C. To focus on veterans and the border.

The Republican challenger is Lt. Col. Corey Roen. He said his priorities are job creation and securing the border.

Libertarian candidate Jaime O. Perez said he wants to focus on reducing the country’s deficit and restructuring the tax system.
