Gadsden senior honored for having perfect attendance

kindergartens until their senior year. abc-7’s ashlie rodriguez shares the reason why one of those students went to school everyday. she has the story from our new mexico mobile newsroom. i always liked school. She kind of always knew. a cap and gown is comfortable on Natalie Corona. When i was in kinder i rember we were suppose to go in a week later. When i asked Natalie what kind of student she is to never have begged her mom for a sick day, she told me when her kinder year started a week later than usual, she cried. Cuz i thought they didn’t want me in school. Behind Natalie’s motivation to attend without fail… more than two thousand days of instruction, is her mom. My mom is a single parent, so it’s hard on her. So i want to be someone successful, so i know like, by not missing school, I’m going to keep reaching up to my goal. Her goal is to become a lawyer. But that desire to help her mom has already paid off. With a 4.0 Natalie has been accepted to nmsu on a full scholarship. She plans on majoring in criminal justice, and yes, achieving perfect attendance at the collegiate level too. If you never miss a day, you get to learn more things. Cuz I’ve seen it from experience that friends miss for a day or two and they miss a whole lesson. Natalie will attend her last day of high school this week. Maria Corona is proud of her youngest daughter. She tells me that it was tough raising two teen girls, but she knew, no matter how much they screamed and argued with her, it would all be worth it. Although she must have had it easier than most, raising daughters that loved school so much, they wouldn’t dare miss a day. i don’t want to miss out on anything. nmmn,ar and natalie wasn’t the only good student at home. Both maria’s daughters had perfect attendence from kinder thru 12th grade.
