Army sergeant arrested on child porn charge, says he had grenades in home
Homeland Security agents found grenades in West Side home during arrest.
The agents went to arrest Army Sgt. Michael Hall at his home in the 1600 block of Playa del Sol to arrest him on a federal charge of distribution of material involving sexual exploitation of minors.
After taking Hall into custody, Hall told them that he had grenades in his gun safe inside the house. It is not believed the grenades were part of the warrant he was arrested for.
El Paso Police’s bomb squad was called to the scene to get the grenades.
Hall works at the Mendoza Clinic on Fort Bliss.
