Border Patrol agent enters plea in sexual assault case

A Border Patrol agent accused of having several sexual encounters with a teenage girl pleaded “not guilty” Tuesday.

Luis Angel Lozada, 29, appeared in the 243rd District Court, where he was arraigned on a charge of sexual assault of a child.

According to court documents, Lozada had sex with the 15-year-old girl at least five times inside the bedroom of the girl’s mother.

Lozada was placed on administrative leave.
