A new way to play soccer makes its way to El Paso

Whether you like the sport of soccer or not, there’s no denying ‘bubble soccer’ may tempt you to hit the field.

Bubble soccer is a new form of entertainment and exercise in El Paso that puts people in a large plastic bubble with only your legs exposed to help you run.

Once you are strapped in, it’s time to play soccer.

Bubble soccer was introduced to the city earlier this year by El Pasoans and friends Joe Ray Sanchez and Butch Ballez.

“We want to promote more of a healthy lifestyle and to break the mold in El Paso that there isn’t anything to do,” said Sanchez.

Bubble Busterz currently has a summer rate of $150 per hour and up to ten plastic bubbles can be rented at a time.

Sanchez said the bubbles can be rented for all types of events.
