CBP Air and Marine officers retrieve body found near Mt. Cristo Rey
Two undocumented immigrants trying to enter the U.S. illegally near Mt. Cristo Rey found a body Friday morning.
According to Sunland Park police, the two immigrants alerted Border Patrol agents about the body when they were being detained.
Sunland Park police quickly located the body, but were not able to reach it because of the rough terrain.
A Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine helicopter crew retrieved the body from the mountain.
The investigation continues.
