Elderly couple attacked by a swarm of bees
An elderly couple was taken to the hospital Sunday morning after they were attacked by a swarm of bees.
It happened on the 5300 block of Salisbury Drive in northeast El Paso.
The couple was attacked outside their home. Neighbors told ABC-7 the couple was covered by bees.
The bee hive was in a tree in the couple’s front yard. The El Paso Fire Department was called to the scene. Firefighters donned in special suits and used foam to get rid of the hive.
