Police arrest 3 aggravated robbery suspects, clear 7-11 robberies

Police charged and arrested three men in connection with an aggravated robbery at the 7-11 located at 4130 Hercules.

Officers responding to the incident noticed a car leaving the scene from a side street and immediately pulled it over.

When the vehicle stopped, two passengers allegedly fled on foot while the other two remained inside.

Additional officers were called and established a perimeter and with the help of a K-9 unit and a helicopter crew with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The men who fled on foot were eventually located.

After searching the vehicle, officers discovered a BB gun was used in the robbery.

A 16-year-old who remained in the car was charged with Evading Arrest and turned over to the Juvenile Probation Department.

Rodolfo Becerra, 21, was charged with Evading Arrest and Aggravated Robbery. His bond was set at $26,000.

Leonel Chavez, 23, was charged with Aggravated Robbery and his bond was set at $25,000.

Joshua Rodriguez, 20, was charged with Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana. His bond was set at $26,300.

Police say the on-going investigation and arrests led to the clearing of the following aggravated robbery cases:

7-11 at Vista Del Sol 5/18/17 at 10:35 p.m. 7-11 at 3525 Yarbrough 5/15/17 at 11:56 p.m. 7-11 at 10418 Rushing 5/8/17 at 12:43 p.m.
