El Paso Police: motorcyclist killed in Friday’s crash identified as Roberto Galarza
El Paso Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash on I-10 West at Yarbrough Friday afternoon.
The victim is identified as 46-year-old Roberto Galarza.
The victim reportedly was riding his motorcycle when he slowed down, lost control and fell on the pavement. Police say he was then hit by a 18-wheeler and died at the scene.
All lanes of I-10 West were closed down since 4 p.m. Friday, but opened back just after 10 p.m. Back up was still significant despite the lanes being reopened.
El Paso Police say this is the 22nd traffic fatality of the year.
