HSI task force takes several people into custody in El Paso’s Lower Valley
A task force is conducting an “enforcement operation” as part of an ongoing investigation in the Lower Valley, a spokesperson with Immigration and Customs Enforcement told ABC-7.
The operation took place at an apartment complex on the 10500 block of Alameda near Socorro.
ICE told ABC-7 the Border Enforcement Security Task Force includes Border Patrol and HSI agents as well as state and local authorities. Agents were seen taking several people into custody Wednesday morning.
