The first unit arrived on scene around 1:23 p.m. and attempted to make visual contact with the woman. ComSAR was dispatched and reached the patient by 3:30 p.m. and began treatment.

The woman was transported down the trail with her dog in a ComSAR vehicle. The woman, the dog and the ComSAR team were all safely down the mountain by 4:15 p.m.
