Water main breaks in downtown, gas fumes in area
A water main broke in Downtown El Paso, according the El Paso Water website.
The break happened on Tornillo Street, shutting it down between San Antonio and Overland avenues.
El Paso Water estimated it impacted 20 – 50 customers, and will take between six and 12 hours to fix.
ABC-7 ‘Round the Clock crews reported a smell of gas in the area.
