Mountain lion sighting in neighborhood near El Paso Zoo
Police have confirmed officers are on the scene of a mountain lion sighting.
The sighting was called in early afternoon Sunday at Kyle St. and Barney St., near the El Paso Zoo.
According to police scanners, a resident of the neighborhood reported spotting the animal through their window.
It is unclear if this is the same mountain lion that caused the lock down of the El Paso Zoo on Friday.
ABC-7 has a crew headed to the scene and will update the story as more information becomes available.
