Gorgeous weather, great wine at La Via Fall Harvest Festival
Gorgeous temperatures and a variety of fine wines attracted countless Texas and New Mexico residents to the La Viña Winery Fall Harvest Festival.
“It’s been great!” said Monica Cepeda, who attended the festival with her colleague, Nicole Wills. “I’ve been here since noon and the weather is just wonderful. The wine’s great. What else can we say?”
The festival offered more than twenty types of wines to taste and purchase, according to the winery.
El Paso resident Linda Briggs told ABC-7 she enjoyed her Chardonnay.
“It’s wonderful,” Briggs said. “It’s very refreshing to me. It’s very nice.”
Her husband, Doug, said his wine had hints of chocolate and chile. It had “a little spice to it,” he said.
The festival was $20 for adults and $10 admission for guests between 11 and 20 years of age. The next wine festival will be in the spring.
