El Paso Electric working to restore…

Some Northeast El Paso homes are without power due to an outage.

As of 7:20 a.m., there are only 30 customers affected in the McCombs and Sean Haggerty area.

It was caused by faulty pole that connects underground and ground level power lines, according to an official with El Paso Electric.

At some point about 500 were without electricity. The outage was first reported Monday night.

EPE has already sent crews on scene to fix the problem.

An official said power would be restored between 8 and 9 a.m.
