CLIVE, Iowa (KCCI) — Here’s proof that good people are all around us.

The Clive Police Department posted a picture of a diamond ring that someone found on a trail and turned in.

“Today, two kind-hearted souls were walking on the Greenbelt Trail between NW 100th Street and the Maddox Park Shelter house, when they came across a diamond ring lying by the trail. Thinking about the person who lost the ring, they immediately brought it to the Clive PD and turned it in,” Clive police said on Facebook.

Last than 24 hours later, the ring made its way back to the proper hand.

It shows the power of social media and the good nature of Iowans.
