New Mexico State Police: Missing 2-year-old Belen girl found

BELEN, N.M. (AP) — The New Mexico State Police says a 2-year-old Belen girl who had been reported missing has been found and that a statewide Amber Alert issued for the child was canceled late Monday. No details were released immediately on the recovery of Italy Hernandez but Belen police had said she allegedly was taken by her father. Belen police also said the man was wanted in a stabbing. No information was immediately released on his status.
