El Paso native, Oscar winner F. Murry Abraham to appear at 2022 Plaza Classic Film Festival
EL PASO, Texas – El Paso native F. Murray Abraham will appear at this year's 15th annual El Paso Community Foundation Plaza Classic Film Festival.
The Academy Award-winning actor is a 1958 graduate of El Paso High School. He won an Oscar for Best Actor for his performance as Antonio Salieri in director Milos Forman's Amadeus.
Abraham will appear for a pre-screening interview of the director's cut version of Amadeus at 7 p.m. Friday, August 5, in the Plaza Theatre.
He will also appear for a pre-screening interview for director Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 6, in the Plaza Theatre.
The 15th Annual Plaza Classic Film Festival will be held July 28-August 7, 2022. The event will include a 70th Anniversary screening for Singing in the Rain and showings for Sleepless in Seattle, Superman, Lawrence of Arabia, Bonnie and Clyde, and Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix.
