43% of eligible El Pasoans fully vaccinated; 1 additional virus death
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Health Department announced one coronavirus-related death and 61 new cases Monday morning.
El Paso County's pandemic death toll now stands at 2,540.
There are 46 additional suspected Covid-19 deaths currently being investigated by the health department.
El Paso health department data shows that 43.1% of El Pasoans over the age of 16 are now fully vaccinated, with 64.3% having received at least one.
The number of known active cases now stands at 2,258.
There are 145 Covid-19 patients in El Paso hospitals, with 46 (+1) of those patients in intensive care units.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 134,392 confirmed virus cases in El Paso with 129,479 reported recoveries.
