Sunday Funday Moment: 7-year-old Amri spreads love and kindness with Christmas stockings for the homeless
EL PASO, Texas-- The holiday season is about being thankful and giving back to others, among other things. For 7-year-old Amri De La Cruz, that's exactly what she's been doing all month long.
Crystal Fernandez wanted to teach her daughter, Amri, the importance of giving back to others in need. Together they made stockings full of goodies to hand out to the homeless.
The stockings were filled with snacks and a special stuffed animal.
Amri and her mom Crystal went around the city to hand them out to the homeless in our city as a simple act of kindness.
"I'm doing stockings for the homeless because I believe in kindness. We should spread love and kindness to everyone else," said Amri.
A simple reminder from 7-year-old Amri to be kind and spread love. Something we all should keep in mind for the coming year.
