City of El Paso inviting community to ‘Día de los Niños, Día de los Libros’ event
EL PASO, Texas -- The Día de los Niños, Día de los Libros event is back. El Paso Public Libraries are inviting the community to celebrate the holiday at Washington Park this Saturday.
The event encourages El Pasoans of all ages, especially kids to celebrate Dia de los Niños by picking up a book.
Families will be able to receive free books, participate in free activities, and enjoy other free entertainment.
The event, which kicked off in 1997, is the City of El Paso's the longest active free family program.
It kicks off Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
