Officers Rescue Driver Stranded As A Result Of Rain, Floods
WEST EL PASO COUNTY, TX– El Paso County Sheriff’s personnel freed a driver from a car stuck in a ditch full of rain water near Canutillo.Crews were at the scene near 7th Street and Vinton shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday.
ABC-7 has learned the driver of the car was unhurt. Additionally, there were reports of heavy street flooding several areas of El Paso County, with much standing water and debris on the roads.
ABC-7 StormTrack weather forecaster Troy Barrett said that the system is expected to drift to the north over the course of the night,however a chance of showers remains in tomorrow’s forecast.
