Hay Fires Burn In Dona Ana County
MESQUITE, NM. – Fire crews in Dona Ana County battled several hay stack fires overnight. At least three were located at the Bright Star Dairy in the town of Mesquite, just south of Las Cruces.
ABC-7 arrived at the scene early Monday morning and was told fire crews would let the fires burn out. Some livestock, primarily cows, were seen in close proximity with the fire, but crews determined they were in no immediate danger.
No injuries were reported early Monday.
