EL PASO, TX. – Police were dispatched to a quiet eastside neighborhood early Wednesday afternoon and arrived to find two people dead.

Shortly after 1:30 Wednesday afternoon, officers arrived at the Palm Desert Trailer Park, just south of Montana Avenue. ABC-7 found a womanat the scene, talking to relatives on a cell phone about “how her sister had just been stabbed in the back.”

According to police, whatactually happened was a double shooting. EPPD Spokesperson Javier Sambrano tells ABC-7 that they were not looking for any suspects in the case, nor could they rule out a murder/suicide.

The woman emotionally added that “police would not let her get close to the scene” and “her sister had been threatenedby her boyfriend on Tuesday. ABC-7 could not confirm any of the woman’s comments with police.

The sister of the possible victim contacted ABC-7 to say that she had “urgedher sister to call the police about her boyfriend.” The woman also said that her sister had recently tried tokick the boyfriend out of the house and that he “had threatened her.”
