Officers Search For East EP Shooter, Police ID Victims
EL PASO, Tx. – Sun City police are searching for a man who fired several shots at two joggers on the city’s east side.
Police tell ABC-7 the report of ‘shots fired’ came in shortly after 4am Monday morning, in the area around west of Polly Harris Streetand MontwoodDrive.
According to EPPD,witnesses tell themthe shooter allegedly walked up to his girlfriend and her friends as they were jogging and fired five shots. Emergency crews were dispatched, but no injuries were reported.
Police identify the victims as Jill Joseph and Linda Segapeli, both residents of east El Paso.
Officers saythe gunman remains on the loose and they have notified law enforcement officials in the county, as well as in New Mexico and in Juarez.
Investigators describe him as white male, possibly driving a 2004 4-door Dodge with Texas license plate X92-FYY. Police are asking anyone with information on this crime to contact them immediately.
