UTEP Closes Late Friday Afternoon Due To Weather Conditions
FROM UT EL PASO: The University of Texas at El Paso closed at 4pm Friday due to severe weather conditions and all evening classes were cancelled.
Only critical facility support personnel and the UTEP Police Department will remain on duty.
University officials ask that all students, faculty and staff exercise safety and caution while driving home.
Saturday classes remain on schedule. The University will resume normal operating hours on Monday.
