Richardson Attends New Hampshire Clambake

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) – Governor Richardson says the Democratic Party should be the party of science and technology. Richardson is seeking the Democratic nomination for president.

He took his campaign to New Hampshire yesterday, where he visited the Rockingham County Democrats’ clambake. Richardson says he’d make America the leader on global climate change.

He also says America’s obsession with Iraq has distracted the United States from anti-nuclear proliferation and human rights. Richardson also has repeated his pledge to close the US prisons at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and improve U-S public schools.
