Central EP Water Main Break Threatens Several Homes
EL PASO, TX. – An intersection in Central El Paso is closed Thursday morning after a water main break.
It’s at the intersection of Raynor and Taylor.ABC-7 wastold several houses in that area are without water. Crews say the break threatened a couple of homes in the area and that they had to use sandbags to stop all the water.
The water reportedly rushed from the Raynor intersection all the way to Dyer Street. No word yet on what exactly caused the water main break and just how many homes are being affected. Work crews repaired the break and said service had been restored to all 30 homes affected, though officials are still not certain of what caused the break.
