UPDATE: Search Continues For Missing Utah Miners

HUNTINGTON, UT – Rescuers admit it’s a long shot, but they’re hoping a robotic camera dropped into a utah mountain Sunday will find some sign of six missing coal miners.

They haven’t been heard from since a cave-in three weeks ago. Images are expected sometime Monday. A federal mine safety manager says officials owe it to the families to do everything possible to locate their loved ones.

“I think the families were pleased and gratified that there were additional efforts being undertaken,I think they’re pleasantly surprised at the announcement of the robot; that is something that has never been announced before,” says Colin King, the attorney representing the families of those miners trapped.

The families say they would be totally opposed to any decision to seal off the mine. With their lawyers, they are considering their options if it looks likesuch anapproach might be taken.
