Police Arrest Suspect In Connection With East EP Murder

EL PASO, TX.- El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons detectives (cap) arrested a second man in connection withan East El Pasomurder.

Through the ongoing investigation of CAP detectives, El Paso Police arrested 28-year-old Andy Keller Walker on Wednesday August 29in connection with the murder of Cleo Navarro. He was booked on one count of Murder with a $250,000 dollar bond.

26-year old Jose Hector Cantu wasarrested on Monday August 27.Detectives arrested Cantu, who was in the El Paso County Detention Facility for unpaid traffic warrants, and booked him on one count of murder with a $200,000 bond.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.El Paso Police were dispatched to 9300 Montana at 1:30 a.m.on August 11, 2007. Pebble Hills Regional Command officers arrived at the scene and found the47-year-old victimon the ground in the parking lot of the Desert Tree Apartment complex without signs of life.

Detectives from CAP responded to assist officers at the scene. Investigators found obvious signs of foul play. CAP detectives are investigating this case as the 11th murder of 2007. Anyone with any information regarding this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 566-TIPS (8477).
