Man Arrested For Alleged Sexual Relationship With Minor
LAS CRUCES, NM -LCPD arrested a 21-year-old man for having an improper relationship with a 14-year-old girl.
Danny O. Martinez, of 1830 E. Nevada Ave. in Las Cruces, was arrested Tuesday evening after investigators discovered he had a sexual relationship with the girl in December 2006.
According to the report, Martinez met the girl in the parking lot of a local business and asked for her phone number. The report states that Martinez gave the girl a fictitious last name and told her he was 18-years-old. The two met on at least five occasions for sex.
Martinez is charged with five counts of criminal sexual penetration, each a fourth-degree felony, and is being held at the Dona Ana County Detention Center under a $50,000 cash-only bond.
