Dona Ana County Sex Offender Arrested In Houston

DONA ANA, N.M. – Juan Minez, age 32, was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Service in Harris County, Texas, Houston, on September 5, after receiving information from the U.S. Marshals service in Las Cruces that Minez was possibly in their area.

Minez was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued in 1997, out of Dona Ana County for Failure to Register as a sex offender and probation violation. Minez’s last known address was Chaparral, New Mexico. Minez is currently being held in the Harris County Detention Center, awaiting extradition.
