Prominent Hispanics Honored With ‘Triunfador’ Award
EL PASO, TX. – El Paso astronaut Danny Olivas was among those honored with a life-time achievement award Thursday.
The 8th annual “Hispanos Triunfadores” awards were held at the Camino Real Hotel. The event is aimed at recognizing outstanding hispanics in our area.
Those honored Thursday say that achieving this award can be done by anyone with a goal. “I hope the message that comes home…a goal or objective in their life,” Olivas said. Also honored, was Susana Martinez, Dona Ana County district attorney, for her service to the community.
