New Naturalization Test Ready
WASHINGTON – U.S. immigration officials have trimmed down their questions which will appear on a new test, beginning in October of next year.
There will be one hundred civics and history questions available for the new test. Individual applicants will get them ten at a time and have to get at least six correct to pass.
Ninety-two percent of test takers passed the exam when the government administered a practice run of the questions. Currently, only 84 percent of immigrants pass the test on the first try.
