Woman Rescued From Canal Near Border Highway
EL PASO, TX. – An illegal immigrant died after entering the American Canal at Fonseca. Emergency crews pulled the body from the water.
Right now,rescue officialsare not disclosing if it was a man or a woman. Theevening recovery was the second of Thursday aftera woman was rescued from the same strong current. She later died. The Mexican Consulate identifies the victim as 34-year-old Irma Rios of Veracruz.
