Sex Offender Arrested

EL PASO, TX–El Paso County Sheriff’s detectives arresteda sex offender on Friday for allegedly not living where he’s registered.

Detectives tell ABC 7 that they made several attempts to contact Richard Kimball at a home on East Montana, but found no sight of him.

Authorities then followed up with surveillance and determinedKimball was just renting the address to “skirt the law.” Deputies and members of U.S. Marshals spent 15 days searching for him.

Detectives ultimately found Kimball living with another registered sex offender on Frank Shorter Lane.

Kimball is held without bond at the El Paso County Downtown Detention Facility.
