Man Stabbed After Argument In Central El Paso Friday Night

EL PASO, TX. – A man is in the hospital after being stabbed lateFriday night.

Police tellABC-7 he was only stabbed once on the leg where initial reports were that he’d been stabbed several times.

It happened in Central El Paso near Schultz and Padilla.Investigators tellABC-7 the stabbing happened after several people were arguing.

Police say the stabbing may be gang related. The unidentified victim isrecovering at R.E. Thomason hospital.A police officer was also injured while chasing a person in the area.

Investigators are not sayingif that person is a suspect in the stabbing case.More information is forthcoming from ABC-7 here at KVIA.com
