Man Stabbed After Attempted Home Robbery In South EP

EL PASO, TX. – Police say a manwas stabbed Sunday evening after finding two men trying to break into his home.

According to EPPD officials, the stabbing took place along the 300 block of Glenwood in South El Paso.Police add that theman was stabbed while allegedlyprotecting his home.

Emergency radiobroadcasts indicated thattwo men were trying to break into a house. When the homeowner came out to confront them, he was stabbed.

Emergency Medical Service officials tell ABC-7 that the home owner was taken to the hospital with a serious injury. The victim is now at Thomason Hospital.

Police officials continue to investigate the crime.
